The average price of a house sold in Sheffield is around £187,000 so it’s no surprise getting on the property ladder is so difficult.

However, it seems there are still some bargains to be had.

There have been some staggering deals in Sheffield this year, according to the latest Land Registry stats.

More than 40 properties have been sold for less than £57,000 with the cheapest this year sold for just £30,000.
