Officers inspect the services to make sure they’re providing care that’s safe, caring, effective, responsive to people’s needs and well-led.

A rating to show the overall judgement on quality of care is also included ranging from Outstanding, Good, Requires Improvement and Inadequate.
There are almost 100 Good care homes in Sheffield, one Outstanding and five that are Inadequate.
