A FORMER town hall could be converted into a pub and restaurant, with flats on the upper floors, under proposals submitted to planners.
The scheme involves the former Wombwell Town Hall.
The plans had already been submitted once for approval, but have now been altered to include adjoining former public toilets as part of the public house and restaurant.
Barnsley Council confirmed it has received the new application, which will be considered for approval over the coming months.
Other plans submitted include reopening a former petrol station in Pontefract Road, Cudworth, as a car wash business.
There are also proposals for a front extension and alterations including extra parking at the Pentagon car dealership in Claycliffe Road, Barugh Green, Barnsley.
