Response to disgusted Dave
I am sorry that Disgusted Dave feels let down by the RSPB Sheffield Local Group for not responding to his email regarding an injured crow.
The local group is run by volunteers and not paid members of staff and are not always available.
The RSPB is a conservation organisation with no animal welfare training or facilities to care for injured birds or animals.

Hide AdThe RSPCA, on the other hand, has fully trained, on-call officers who respond to such situations.
We recommend on our website that this is who you contact and I am pleased that Dave’s neighbour took the right course of action.
