Reminder over voting register

Have your say

SHEFFIELD residents are being reminded to fill in their voter registration forms which are being sent to households across the city.

All eligible residents are being asked to confirm their details and return them as soon as possible.

Alistair Griggs, director of modern governance at Sheffield Council, said: “Local councils help provide a wide range of services that all residents use and rely on every day. That’s why your vote can make a real difference.”

Every household must respond to the form, stating the names of all the eligible electors who live in the household. If no-one is eligible to be registered, residents are being asked to state the reason.
