Refreshing change

What a refreshing change to read a letter promoting the UK's ability to survive outside the European Union (Mary Steele, June 13).
EUEU
EU

Especially as this was followed by the usual clap trap from the Green Party and the Lib Dems. The Green Party indicating that we will become a filthy little island with no cares about the environment or animal welfare, even though at present we are one of the most caring countries in the world. The Lib Dems’ scaremongering about not being able to go abroad for holidays – Oh I can just see them turning down all the holiday-makers’ money because we’re not in the EU.

Let them dare to go and tell the people who live in the various no-go areas in Sheffield, where unemployed migrants hang menacingly around street corners, that the migrants pay more into our tax system than they take out.

And while I’m at it, how dare the Lib Dems email me to ask for a donation so they can have 600 stalls across the country with Lib Dem activists on the streets.

If they feel so passionate about the vote let them go out there and do the campaigning on foot and with voices which cost nothing, instead of asking tax-paying citizens to pay for travel, stalls and posters.
