Sheffield’s High Storrs School is to be one of a number of schools in the UK to offer the new Latin GCSE from September 2016.
The 2000 year old language - the backbone of many languages spoken globally - has seen a resurgence in recent years and the move to add it to the curriculum is part of a wave of government reforms to GCSEs.
