A SHEFFIELD city centre pub has made the final of a prestigious national awards ceremony for the licensed trade industry.

The Red House, in Solly Street, has been named as a finalist in the Best Entertainment Pub category for the Yorkshire and North East region in the Great British Pub Awards - a nationwide search to find the best pubs and licensees in the UK.

The awards, run by the Publican’s Morning Advertiser, recognise licensees across the UK in a range of categories – from quality of cask beer, their food, to support provided to their local community.
