Recycle your tree for free

Have your say

Environmentally friendly staff from The University of Sheffield will be recycling unwanted Christmas trees from this festive season which will be turned into compost and spread across the campus.

The university’s landscape services team will be shredding old Christmas trees for free in the car park of the Arts Tower from 9am until 5pm on Saturday, January 5.

Anyone can use the service and the compost will be used to improve the quality of the soil around the university.
