Recognise the signs of strokes in Sheffield

Health services in Sheffield have launched a campaign to teach people how to recognise when someone is having a stroke and what actions to take.

Sheffield Teaching Hospitals is hosting a public event at the Town Hall next Wednesday, April 11, to illustrate the importance of recognising symptoms and dialling 999 quickly.

Stroke experts and paramedics will be speaking at the stroke awareness event, offering advice and also free health checks and lifestyle advice, from 10am to 2pm.
