FORMER pupils and staff are being invited to the official opening of a rebuilt Sheffield special school which takes place next month.
Bents Green School, on Ringinglow Road, is welcoming guests to the event on Saturday, June 16, from 11am until 3pm.
The school is one of the last in the city to be transformed as part of the Government’s Building Schools for the Future investment programme.
The project has seen a complete refurbishment of the old building and the building of a new extension. In addition the grounds have been extensively re-landscaped.
Governor Sandy Warne said: “We would love some of the old pupils to come back, plus any parents thinking of sending their children to Bents Green.”
New Lord Mayor Coun John Campbell will open the school.
