Rail services disrupted due to points failure between Meadowhall and Rotherham
Rail services are currently disrupted due to a points failure between Meadowhall and Rotherham Central.
Train services running through both stations may be diverted between Meadowhall and Swinton South Yorkshire, whilst Rotherham Central will be not be served.
Travel disruption is expected until midday.
The disruption will affect services from Sheffield and Meadowhall travelling towards Doncaster and Hull.
Customers travelling from Rotherham Central are advised to change at Meadowhall.
Northern Rail are currently attempting to arrange replacement transport.
