Radio Sheffield host Toby Foster set for socially distanced car park comedy show

BBC Radio Sheffield breakfast show host and comedian Toby Foster is gearing up to stage a socially distanced comedy show – in Sheffield Arena’s car park.

The FlyDSA Arena car park will be the venue for the unique show on August 22.

The team behind Sheffield’s Last Laugh Comedy Club, the longest running comedy club in the north, will present a star-studded night of stand-up comedy featuring compere Nina Gilligan as well as Junior Simpson, BGT’s Steve Royle and comedy superstar Justin Moorhouse from Phoenix Nights.

Last Laugh supremo Toby Foster said: “We’re an emergency service. Sheffield needs to laugh again, so I spoke to Sheffield City Trust, mates at The Arena and the police and the council. They have all been incredibly supportive, so we are on for fun and games”.
