Staff at a Doncaster-based insurance services company raced against each other to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society.
They raised £300 by donating £5 each to run their fastest lap of a 1.6mile course around the lake at Lakeside, which was matched by their employer, Ryan Direct Group, to make up a grand total of £600.
Non-runners did their part by walking the lap with an ice-cream.
Marketing manager Simon Norton said: “Ryan Direct Group was glad to do its part for this worthy cause. We also enjoyed the opportunity to get out for a jaunt round the lake.”
