My Tent Or Yours can make the most of Annie Power's absence by landing the Betdaq Punchestown Champion Hurdle, the feature event on the fourth day of the Festival.

Nicky Henderson’s charge found Annie Power far too good at both Cheltenham and Aintree and while Willie Mullins is still represented by Vroum Vroum Mag and Sempre Medici, it is the master of Seven Barrows who can have the last laugh this time.

My Tent Or Yours was beaten four and a half lengths by Annie Power at Cheltenham, but that was an incredible run given he had not raced in nearly two years and arrived with just a handful of racecourse gallops as his prep.

He understandably got a bit tired up the Cheltenham hill that day and Henderson was keen for another crack at Mullins’ star at Aintree.

However, given that two miles at Cheltenham appears to be at the higher end of My Tent Or Yours’ stamina limitations, it was little surprise to see two and a half miles on Merseyside was beyond him.

Beaten 18 lengths that day, My Tent Or Yours did not help himself by refusing to settle but at least he shrugged off any fears about the ‘bounce factor’ and he certainly sets the standard in this Grade One heat.

Jer’s Girl can make full use of her mares’ allowance in the Tattersalls Ireland Champion Novice Hurdle.

Gavin Cromwell’s charge gets a handy 7lb pull and after her recent Grade One triumph in mares-only company, her confidence should be riding high as she tackles the boys again.

Her previous two efforts in open company at Leopardstown failed to yield a win but her head defeat at the hands of Apple’s Jade now reads particularly well given that rival’s subsequent victory at Aintree.
