The six-week-old rabbit, named Fitz, was stolen from the Tropical Butterfly House in North Anston yesterday.

Staff said the hutch had been tampered with to reach the rabbit.

A spokeswoman said: " Staff are devastated and it is particularly upsetting as the baby, Fitz, had not been weaned off its mummy yet.
