Looking more closely at the graffiti problem and the efforts of the graffiti artists, I can't help but think, why do they waste their time on fruitless wall coverings?

They could be putting their skills to good use and may be getting paid for it.

An art and design course springs to mind, designers are always in demand and command high salaries.
