Sheffielders will put their knowledge to the test in a Christmas pub quiz raising money for a local youth homeless charity.
Teams of up to eight people will compete to be Roundabout charity’s quiz champions with plenty of prizes up for grabs.
Drummer for Sheffield-based band Pulp and long-time Roundabout supporter, Nick Banks, will be the official quiz master and judge of the best team name competition.
A plate of pie and peas is included in the ticket price so teams can tuck in while supporting and learning more about the charity’s work with vulnerable young people in Sheffield.
Roundabout has been working with young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness for nearly 40 years, helping them to recognise, develop and take advantage of the choices open to them.
In April, the charity organised a Yorkshire-themed quiz night where more than 100 participants helped to raise almost £1,000.
Ruth Gage, Roundabout’s Fundraising and Communications Manager, said: “The quiz in April was a huge success.
“We’re hoping that even more people get involved this time round and join us for an evening of festive ‘fun-draising’!”
Roundabout’s Quizmas will take place on Thursday 1 December at Queens Social Club on Queens Road.
Doors open at 7pm for an 8pm start.
Tickets are £8 and can be bought or reserved on Eventbrite.
