Public transport is disrupted in Sheffield city centre this morning following an early morning collision between a woman and a tram.
Emergency services are treating the woman at the scene of the collision on West Street, which was reported at around 6.30am today.
Members of the public went to her aid until paramedics arrived to take over.
Her condition is not yet known.
The collision happened close to the Varsity bar.
Stagecoach Supertram said services are suspended between the Cathedral and Shalesmoor stops due to the collision.
Tickets can be used on First and Stagecoach buses instead.
Buses travelling along West Street towards the city centre are unaffected but outbound services are diverting via Rockingham Street and Broad Lane.
