Pub of the week: The White Lion, Heeley
Who goes there?'¨Real beer lovers. CAMRA Sheffield made it their pub of the month, rewarding former regulars Jon and Mandy who took over 18 months ago.
Why go there? Beer from local breweries, real cider, and a large whiskey selection. CAMRA hopes to preserve the ‘unique’ atmosphere by getting the heritage pub, which dates to 1781, listed as a community asset.
And when? There is live music most nights, quiz Wednesdays.
