It is vital that the Government continues to fund the Unit so it can maintain its battle against domestic wildlife crime and serious international organised crime.

Hide AdThe Unit helps police forces combat wildlife crimes like badger persecution, poaching and hare coursing, and also investigates illegal trade in live animals and animal products.
The NWCU is a small, low-cost yet highly effective weapon in the armoury against wildlife crime.
