A PROBE into the cause of a crash involving a minibus carrying disabled adults from Sheffield is still underway.
Police in Lancashire said the circumstances surrounding the collision on the M55, near Blackpool, are still under investigation.
The smash happened at 4.10pm on Friday when a minibus transporting adults from Willowbeck Care Home, Holywell Road, Brightside, ran out of control, crashed into the embankment and overturned on the hard shoulder of the westbound carriageway of the motorway.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
Altogether seven casualties were left with injuries, including a man who was airlifted to hospital suffering an arm injury
He remains in hospital.
The six other injured people are all now back at the care home in Sheffield.
