Prisoner caught with mobile phone in cell in Doncaster
A prisoner received a six month sentence after being caught with a mobile phone in his cell.
Richard French, aged 29 and formerly of Gateshead, was serving a nine-year sentence at HMP Lindholme in Doncaster for conspiracy to supply Class A drugs when he was caught with the illegal phone.
He appeared at Doncaster Magistrates' Court last Tuesday and received a six-month prison sentence to run alongside his existing term.
