STAFF from a Sheffield print firm have been falling asleep on the job to prepare for a sleep-out to raise funds for the city’s Cathedral Archer Project.

Graham Congreve and Jonathan Stevenson got zipped up into their sleeping bags at Evolution Print, Atlas Way, Attercliffe, to test them out before their night under the stars on the cathedral forecourt.

The event, on Friday, March 23, will raise funds for the project which supports homeless adults in Sheffield.

Project workers offer those with nowhere else to go somewhere warm, safe and welcoming during the day.

Those using the project receive crisis support and work with staff to change their lives and move away from homelessness.

Graham said: “We’ve been supporting the project for a while and thought it was time to experience more about the work they do to support homeless people. We are looking forward to finding out more about homelessness, but we’re not sure what it will be like sleeping out overnight in the city centre.”
