Primary schoolchildren toast Queen's birthday

Primary school children celebrated the Queen's 90th birthday with a special street party.

Pupils at Lowfield Primary School have a street party to celebrate the Quenns 90th birthday

Around 370 youngsters from Lowfield Primary School on London Road hung out the bunting for the special event.

Children sang the National Anthem, performed a mock coronation and toasted the Queen with a glass of punch. Assistant head Jo Hollands said it had been ‘brilliant’.
