Primary school issues warning after man in white van attempts to pick up pupil near Woodhouse

Staff at Brunswick Community Primary School in Woodhouse sent a letter out to parents this morning following the incident.

A pupil was reportedly approached by a man in a white man as they were walking to school but managed to run away and inform staff.

Police have now been informed of the incident but staff at the primary school have decided to send out a warning letter to parents.

Staff at the school will also hold a special assembly with its pupils on Monday morning to warn them about the incident.
