Prevent suffering
As a regular reader of the letters page I was very surprised to read what Disgusted, Dave had to say about the RSPB (there is no C).
This has never been a rescue service only people trying to protect the habitat of birds.
If you find a bird with a broken wing, take it to a vet immediately to prevent further suffering, there should be no charge as they are classified as wild life.
