Sheffield Arena is to host the Premier League of Darts for the 11th consecutive year.

The Darts will come to Sheffield on Thursday May 4 for night 14 of the professional Corporation Tournament.

The battle to claim coveted spots in the Premier League Play-Offs will see four big clashes take place.

Great rivals, and legends of the game, Michael van Gerwen and Phil Taylor will face off.

The night will also include clashes between five time world champion Raymond van Barnevald and Dave Chisnall, world number two Gary Anderson will take on James Wade and new UK Open champion Peter Wright will meet two-time World Champion Adrian Lewis.

There will be a record prize-pot of £250,000 for coming first and a £25,000 league leader's bonus will also be on offer for the player who finishes at the top of the league table.

In addition the night will mark 56-year-old Taylor's final big-stage appearance in Sheffield as he takes on reigning World Champion and current Premier League leader Van Gerwen - in what could be the pair's final competitive meeting.
