Pregnant cow rescued from a stream at Baslow
Firefighters rescued a pregnant Friesian cow after it became trapped in Baslow.
The cow was discovered near the A619 about 10.20pm, on Monday, May 25.
A Derbyshire fire service spokesman said: “One pregnant cow was trapped in a stream and firefighters used a rope and animal rescue equipment to assist a farmer.”
The cow was safely removed from the stream by about 11.50pm.
