The power of the people

It isn’t about fighting anyone, it is about building a better Sheffield, a better South Yorkshire, a better country, a better world.

Labour failed. The people voted them out of office, this is democracy in action. The people voted Labour out of office because they did not believe that Labour offered them the best deal.

If the Conservatives fail to deliver they too will be voted out – democracy in action once again, this is healthy and how it should be.

The people have the power, they simply need to use it and the politicians need to understand that they serve and not rule and they have a very small portfolio to deliver.

Keep the people happy, safe, warm and fed, ensure the environment is protected and no man, however powerful, is above the law.

It really is this simple.
