Power cut hits 40 Sheffield homes
A power cut has plunged about 40 homes in the Beighton area of Sheffield into darkness.
The Northern Powergrid said the outage was caused by a 'problem with an underground cable in the area' and the lights went out just before midnight yesterday.
The power is expected to be back on by 10am this morning.
