A pound or more land
Entering the pound shop on the Moor in Sheffield, I chose one item and proceeded to the check-out where I was told the item which was a bottle of tomato sauce was £3.
I said, I thought everything was a pound.
The check-out operator told me there were exceptions.
I refused to buy the item and left the store , my dreams of everything being a pound shattered.
