Posters aim at litterbugs

Have your say

A SERIES of posters created by students has gone on display in Chesterfield to warn people about the consequences of dropping litter, spitting out chewing gum and allowing dogs to foul pavements.

The posters were created by Chesterfield College students as part of an environmental awareness competition organised by Chesterfield Council and Chesterfield Community Safety Partnership.

Students were asked to find out what has a negative impact on the town centre and to find photographic evidence to use in their posters.

The posters are on display in empty units in the Pavements shopping centre and copies have been put up in the college.
