Popular Doncaster music festival postponed for a year because of virus
A popular Doncaster music festival has been postponed for a year due to coronavirus.
This year’s Askern Music Festival will now take place on July 21 next year – but with the same bill.
A spokesman said: “After weeks of discussions and deliberations we have decided that the best course of action is to postpone.
“It’s not been an easy decision, however we feel that the country won’t be ready to party in time in 2020.
“The good news is that we are lucky enough to have secured the same line up including Feeder, The Coral, Republica, Bang Bang Romeo, Chris Helme, Nigel Clark and Mark Morriss.”
Take care guys, we’re also working on a few surprises for 2021
Tickets purchased for 2020 will be valid for 2021.
There will be no early bird tickets for 2021 and pricing will start from £25.
