George Osborne unveils a dramatic root and branch reform of stamp duty amongst other intiatives as part of his autumn statement.

Chancellor George Osborne has updated MPs and the British public about the state of the economy in his last Autumn Statement before the general election. Amongst the initiatives are changes to stamp duty which will benefit 98% of homebuyers and changes to Air Passenger Duty which will be scrapped for under-12s from 1 May next year and for under-16s the following year.
