Whether it is by making personal protective equipment (PPE), delivering food, donating time or money, or even keeping community spirits alive, Mr Stafford is keen to hear about all the amazing work.

Launching the scheme, the conservative MP for Rother Valley said: “We know that times have been tough for the people of Rother Valley during this crisis and that everybody has made sacrifices. It is only right to show our gratitude to those silent heroes who are going the extra mile for our elderly, needy, and medically vulnerable.

“Our heroes are making sure that our Rother Valley family comes through coronavirus together and that we shall emerge even stronger. I am absolutely delighted to launch the Rother Valley Hero Awards which will go some way to show how much we appreciate these truly inspiring local citizens.”

You can nominate your Rother Valley Hero online via: https://www.alexanderstafford.org.uk/rother-valley-heroes.
