I live in Shiregreen and I voted at the recent elections.
I did not vote Reform UK, but a Reform candidate was elected.
Within two weeks he’d dumped Reform, presumably because he had realised what a bunch of people they are and declared himself Independent.
What a con. It’s like me standing for Labour and a week later declaring myself a Tory.
That would be despicable. The electorate have been conned.
The honourable thing to do would be to resign and call a byelection.
But I doubt if there is any honour in someone who stood for Reform.
