Regular Covid-19 testing kits rolled out for Barnsley pupils

Ahead of many pupils’ return to school on Monday (March 8) households, childcare and support bubbles of primary, secondary and college staff be tested twice a week.
This also includes school bus drivers, childminders and after school club leaders.
A spokesperson for Barnsley Council said: “About one in three people with COVID-19 do not have symptoms but can still pass it on to others.

Hide Ad“Regular testing of people without symptoms is important to help stop the virus from spreading and protect your loved ones. As lockdown restrictions gradually ease, we all need to play our part to help protect each other.”
You can collect two packs of home test kits from the following collection points between 1pm and 7pm every day:
Lower Courthouse car park, County Way, Barnsley, S70 2JW Dorothy Hyman Sports Centre car park, Cudworth, S72 8LH Summer Lane car park, Wombwell, S73 0DD
Each pack contains seven tests and anyone 18 or over can collect.
