Premier Inn expansion plans lodged

The hotel operator says the 16 new rooms will meet “considerable demand” for rooms at the Bawtry Road site.

An extension was proposed in 2016, which would have seen an extra 21 rooms, but was never carried out.

The hotel’s car park will be reconfigured, resulting in a loss of 15 parking spaces.

The revised layout will provide a total of 83 parking spaces, including 12 disabled spaces.

Residents can comment on the plans until October 21.
