Plans revealed for more than 100 new homes in Barnsley

Barratt Homes has submitted plans for a development of 104 new homes on Pitt Street in Darfield following local consultation on the plans.

The site, which is close to Netherwood Academy, and links Pitt Street to the Italian Estate, was granted outline planning permission by Barnsley Council in March,

If full planning permission is granted, the development would include a children’s playground, cycle storage and electric vehicle charging points.

Mark Jones from Barratt Homes said: “Following the outline planning permission on the site we are excited to move the plans forward with more details of the new homes.
