Plans revealed for more than 100 new homes in Barnsley

The site, which is close to Netherwood Academy, and links Pitt Street to the Italian Estate, was granted outline planning permission by Barnsley Council in March,

If full planning permission is granted, the development would include a children’s playground, cycle storage and electric vehicle charging points.

Mark Jones from Barratt Homes said: “Following the outline planning permission on the site we are excited to move the plans forward with more details of the new homes.

“This proposal will offer a range of family homes including affordable properties and will help to meet the housing needs of Barnsley.”
