Have your say on Sheffield Skyline adventure park project at two public meetings this week
Residents are invited to see the plans and give feedback at two meetings
The developer behind plans to reimagine Sheffield’s Ski Village into an adventure attraction is holding two public meetings this week.
Skyline Enterprises wants feedback on its designs for Sheffield Skyline, which would build a zipline, downhill karting track and surfing pool on Parkwood Springs.

Residents are invited to see the plans and give feedback at two meetings at:
- Heist Brew Co., Neepsend Lane, S3 8AT, on Wednesday, September 9, from 4pm-7.30pm
- Shirecliffe Community Centre, Shirecliffe Road, S5 8XL, on Thursday, September 10, fron 3pm-7pm
Skyline expect to submit planning permission to the council later this year, but signed a ‘strategic framework’ in June as a commitment to resurrecting the long-derelict site.
The once great skiing attraction will live again as Britain’s next major leisure development - with a gravity-fed ‘Luge’ ride, family playground, zipline, surf wave experience, and the return of dry-ski slopes all on the cards.
The project will also support better connections between Parkwood Springs, Neepsend and Kelham Island through a £19 million Government Levelling Up grant for a new access road, junction upgrades, and site improvements designed to support traffic.
Further updates will be shared on the Skyline Sheffield Project website, where members of the public can also sign up to receive project updates directly to their inbox.
