Addison Day Centre in Maltby, Rotherham is set to close on 31 March under plans from Rotherham Council. The centre provides support and opportunities to people with learning disabilities.

It is one of five day care centre closures planned by the local authority as part of a £3 million savings package. The closures were announced in 2017 but have been met with fierce opposition from families of those who use the facilities.
