Barnsley Council has joined forces with 15 other local authorities to promote the website, which offers information on maintaining healthy relationships and how to access further support.

The Relationship Matters site has been launched to help residents recognise the impacts of family conflict on children through signs such as argumentative behaviour, concerns around their parent’s relationship and anxious or low moods.

“Whether you’re worried about your child’s behaviour, considering splitting up from a partner or joining a family as a step-parent, there is advice and support available to you.

“I encourage anyone having doubts or concerns to visit the website to find how they can best support themselves and their families.
