A health watchdog in Sheffield is asking people to complete a survey about how Covid-19 and lockdown has affected their mental and physical health and whether it has changed the services they use.

Healthwatch Sheffield says the survey will help it and other organisations in the city to understand the impact of the pandemic on local people and how services can be improved in the future.

Lucy Davies, chief officer of Healthwatch Sheffield, said: "Our role is to make sure that people have a say in how local health and care services are delivered - we know that during the pandemic these services have had to make lots of changes.

"We want to understand how this has affected people. Put very simply, we want to know what has worked, and what has not worked.

"We know this won’t be the same for everyone, so we want to hear from as many people as possible. This information will help us work with services as they make plans for how they are run in the future."
