They hope to convert Lowedges Surgery, on Lowedges Road, Lowedges into a five bed bungalow with three bathrooms.

If approved by Sheffield Council, former consulting rooms will be turned into bedrooms and the reception room will become the lounge.

There will also be 10 car parking spaces and the work would include replacing and adding windows.

Lowedges Surgery could be made into a bungalow, if plans are approved

SLA Design provided an access statement on behalf of the developer, it said: “The development proposal will satisfy an identified social need for this type of building in the area.

“The proposal involves the fitting out the current shell unit on the single storey property only.

“The site is located on the outer perimeter of Sheffield’s City Centre on Lowedges Road. It lies close to the Derbyshire border and is served by local services and facilities in Sheffield city centre.”
