The Royston masterplan framework has earmarked a site off Lee Lane, which will include the homes, school and a 'small-scale convenience retail facility to serve the local community'.

Work has already started on 166 houses already approved to be built on the site..

Due to the current situation relating to Covid-19, a report to councillors ahead of the meeting states there is a ‘strong possibility’ the consultation will be digital only, and is likely to include interactive digital exhibitions, online Q&A sessions and calls to planning project managers.
