Police warning after people seen ice skating on frozen pond in Sheffield park

Police are ‘strongly advising’ people not to skate on a frozen pond at a park in Sheffield.

Officers say they have received reports of people ice skating on the pond in Graves Park.

A South Yorkshire Police spokesperson said on Saturday night: “Please be aware that this can be dangerous and could result in falling through the ice which could be thin in places.
