Bosses said they applied for the order for Rawmarsh because of an 'increase in calls from local residents and businesses relating to anti-social behaviour'.

It gives officers the right to order people to leave the area for a set amount of time.

If they breach the order they can be arrested.

A South Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "Staff from the Rotherham North Local Policing Team will be regularly patrolling the area to talk to people who are engaging in anti-social behaviour."
