Police tracing owner of stolen jewellery in Doncaster
Police are tracing the rightful owner of a brooch that is thought to have been stolen.
The item of jewellery was found at a house in Balby after a 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of a burglary in the Town Moor area on Thursday, December 10.
A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police said: “Officers are now trying to locate the owner of the jewellery that is believed to have been stolen.
“Do you recognise the brooch or do you know the owner?
“Anyone with information is asked to contact 101 and ask for information to be passed to PC Rob Scarrow.”
