Police have beefed up their presence in a Sheffield suburb after yobs ran amok hurling fireworks at cars and shops.
The incident on Firth Park Road on Monday night was captured on mobile phone footage.
Police have since moved to reassurance local residents and traders.
Inspector Richard Burgess said: "Extra resources were drafted in to target the perpetrators and prevent further incidents of this nature. These patrols will continue in the near future.
"Section 35 dispersal notices have been issued to youths congregating in the area and advisory letters have been given to parents.
"The number of incidents reported by the public has been minimal in recent days and we will monitor the situation with dedicated resources on the lead up to bonfire night."
No arrests have been made.
